This afternoon the dancers are incredibly lucky to either have Julio Bocca and Daria Klimentova in PDD with them, and in Contemporary they have one the greats of British dance over the last 40 years, Christopher Bruce with them, ably assisted by the lovely Steven Brett who has taken the opportunity to bring his two children with him for a holiday. Christopher has influenced so many choreographers and dancers for so many years, Wayne McGregor sites Christopher as his original inspiration as do many others. All his works are so detailed and thought through and his political ballets are very strong, like Swansong and Ghost Dances. I hope one day they will look back on this time and realise how lucky they were to work with the artistes we have with us.
Tchaicovsky pas de deux is being taught by Julio and Daria and sections of Ghost Dances by Christopher and Steven.
